Andhra Pradesh Govt Rewards 106 UPSC Aspirants with Rs 1 Crore Each

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a generous financial incentive for 106 candidates who have cleared the UPSC Civil Services Main Examination 2023. The candidates will receive Rs 1 crore each from the state government to prepare for the final interview round.

The state government has launched this scheme to encourage and support the aspirants from Andhra Pradesh who are aiming to join the prestigious civil services. Who are the beneficiaries of this scheme?

The beneficiaries of this scheme are the 106 candidates who have qualified for the UPSC Civil Services Personality Test 2023. Out of these, 36 are from the general category, 28 are from the backward classes, 21 are from the scheduled castes, 14 are from the scheduled tribes, and 7 are from the minorities.

The candidates belong to various districts of Andhra Pradesh, such as Anantapur, Chittoor, East Godavari, Guntur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore, Prakasam, Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, and West Godavari.

The candidates have cleared the UPSC Civil Services Main Examination 2023, which was held in January 2023. The main examination consists of nine papers, including four general studies papers, two optional papers, one essay paper, one language paper, and one qualifying paper.

The candidates who have cleared the main examination will now face the UPSC Civil Services Personality Test 2023, which is the final stage of the selection process. The personality test is a one-on-one interview with a panel of experts, who assess the candidates’ suitability for the civil services based on their knowledge, aptitude, attitude, and personality.

The personality test is scheduled to be held from February 22 to March 25, 2023. The final result of the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 will be declared in April 2023.
