Allu Arjun is one of the most popular and highest-paid actors in the Telugu film industry. He has a huge fan following across the country, especially after his blockbuster film Pushpa: The Rise, which released last year. The actor is currently working on the sequel, Pushpa: The Rule, which is expected to release next year.

The actor is also very selective about the brands he endorses. He is associated with brands like Coca-Cola, Astral, KFC, and Zomato, among others. He charges a whopping Rs 7.5 crore for brand endorsements, according to The Economic Times. However, he has avoided endorsing any products that are harmful to health or society.

Allu Arjun is not the first actor to reject liquor and pan masala ads. Earlier, actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Mahesh Babu faced criticism for endorsing pan masala brands. KGF actor Yash also reportedly turned down a pan masala ad offer.

Allu Arjun’s fans have appreciated his decision and praised him for his social responsibility. The actor has also shared a statutory warning on his social media, along with a picture of him holding a cigar, as part of his look for Pushpa: The Rule.

Pushpa: The Rule is directed by Sukumar and also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and Jagapathi Babu. The film is based on the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam forests of Andhra Pradesh. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
