Jharkhand Police attached the house of the murder accused Bhabua: The Jharkhand Police has attached the house of a murder accused in the Bhabua district of Bihar. The accused, Rajesh Kumar Singh, is wanted in a case of killing a businessman in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad district. The police had announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for his arrest.
According to the police, Singh had killed a businessman named Rajesh Kumar Gupta in Dhanbad on October 10, 2023. He had also looted Rs 15 lakh from him. Singh was a resident of Bhabua and had fled to his native place after the crime. The Jharkhand Police had traced his location and raided his house on Tuesday. However, Singh managed to escape from the spot.
The police then attacked his house under Section 83 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), which empowers the court to attach the property of an absconding person. The police also seized a motorcycle, a mobile phone, and some documents from his house. The police said that they were conducting raids to nab Singh and his associates. They also appealed to the public to inform them if they have any information about his whereabouts.
