Yadav was given the oath by Governor Mangubhai C. Patel in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP president JP Nadda, along with other senior leaders. This took place at Bhopal’s Lal Parade Ground, with Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Jyotiraditya Scindia, and UP CM Yogi Adityanath also in attendance. Yadav’s deputies Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla also took the oath during the ceremony. However, the party will decide on other ministers after consulting senior leaders.

Once the ceremony had concluded, Yadav made his way to Ujjain’s Mahakal Lok temple and then hurried back to Bhopal to lead his inaugural Cabinet meeting. Shortly after taking office, Yadav implemented a directive to prohibit the use of loudspeakers/DJs at religious events and public spaces if they exceeded the specified noise limits.

The government has stated that loudspeakers, DJs, etc., can only be used following the prescribed regulations at religious places or in public areas. The state government has also decided to establish flying squads in all districts to monitor noise pollution and the unauthorized use of loudspeakers. These squads will conduct regular and random inspections of religious and public places where loudspeakers are used. In the event of any violations, they will investigate the matter within a maximum of three days and submit a report to the administration. Additionally, the government will make efforts to address the issue of loudspeakers through communication and coordination with religious leaders. A list will be compiled of religious places where the aforementioned rules and instructions are not being followed, and it will be reviewed every week at the district level.

The Chief Minister stated that meat and egg shops will be required to follow guidelines in order to ensure public awareness and educate shop owners about food safety rules. The government has announced a ban on the illegal buying and selling of meat and fish without a license, and they will be launching an intensive campaign to enforce this.

The government has discussed guidelines for cancelling bail for serious crimes and habitual criminals. They have asked the police and prosecution officers to review the actions taken against repeat offenders who commit crimes after being granted bail. The government will establish a PM excellence college in every district, offering courses based on the New Education Policy. They will also introduce Digi locker for digitizing mark sheets of students in government and private colleges. The price of tendu leaf bags has been increased to Rs 3,000, fulfilling a promise made to tribal communities. The party had senior leaders who were potential CM candidates before choosing Yadav. The venue’s posters and banners symbolize the beginning of a new era.
