The 10 teams have a total of 77 slots to fill, of which 30 can be overseas players. The new teams, Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans have the most slots remaining (12 each), while the defending champions, Chennai Super Kings, have the least slots remaining (3).
Purse Money
The total purse money available for the teams is INR 90 crore. The new teams have the biggest purse money (INR 38 crore each), while the existing teams have the remaining purse money (INR 14 crore each). The teams can spend a maximum of 75% of their purse money on buying players.
Mallika Sagar
